I can't set up windows mail or retrive mail from outlook express/ please help! Ineed my mail! where do I go?

seI cant t uo windows mail or get outollk express to retrive mail

developed a few problems, and i don't know what precipitated them.

first, every reply that i send to a newsgroup goes directly to "outbox" -
it is never posted.

second, i am forced to reconnect to the network every time i select (to
view) a different ng.
