How can I set my firewall in "Norton Systemsworks Internet
Security" to run the Reversi game that comes with Windows
XP?

The posted instructions say to enter a TCP code for a
range but there is apparently no way to enter this in
Norton. Thanks.

Sure there is.

Start NIS. Under the firewall tab, select the Internet Access Control tab.
Add reversi to the list and select permit all.

There you go.

I did this, and it didn't work.

On the "Internet Access Control" tab I find the list you
described. I searched for the Reversi file and added it.
It is Rvsezm.exe_1. I selected "permit all."

There is no change when I run Reversi, which is started
from the desktop.

I just tried to play the game for the first time and Norton popped up a
window asking to set the game for Internet play and I checked the box to
always use this setting and it works. I can now play online.

I don't see a setting like this available here.

Hi Tom,

Uninstall your firewall, and then reinstall it to remove any
erroneous program permissions that might have been set.
Before you run any other program or game though, run
the Norton's live update to update your firewall. That will
make sure that the latest automatic program recognition
and settings list will be added to your firewall to avoid any
issues like that again. If you click HELP in your Norton's
software, it also should assist you in contacting their tech
support in case there is a problem with that software. :-)
