you have entered the server name correctly.

(E-Mail Removed) is not your email server.

Who do you get your internet connection with? We know it is not Microsoft.com.
Have you asked their technical support for information on setting up your mail account with them?

That error indicates you have entered an invalid mail server name.
You get the correct server names from your mail service provider.
If you don't know who that is, what is the part of your email address
after the @ symbol?

Not even close. Contact your ISP for the correct settings.

Your email account provider should have a help page on their website with
the correct server names and settings.
Some even have tutorials. If they don't have one for Windows Mail, use the
one for Outlook Express.

Or, if you tell us who provides your email account, perhaps someone can
help.

You will have exactly the same problem with every other mail client.
Windows Mail works the same way as others.

You need to have the information from your ISP or mail provider.

Since you don't mention who that is, it's impossible to provide any more
specific information..

Mine will not work for you, since I almost certainly use different mail
servers.

Once you have the information from your mail provider, it's easy. Use the
directions for Outlook Express if they don't have them for Windows Mail;
they are almost identical.

Make sure attachments are enabled:
Tools, Safety Options, Security, uncheck "Block images..." and also
uncheck "Do not allow attachments..."

Also go to Tools, Options, Send, Mail Sending Format, HTML Settings,
make sure "Send pictures with messages" is checked.

If all that checks out, but it still doesn't work, what is the error
message, and which antivirus program are you using?
