CANT SEND ON SMTP

HELP I CANT SEND TO MY E-MAIL USING OUTLOOK 2003 ALL SETTINGS ARE CORRECT
CHECKED CHECKED AND CHECKED
I RECIEVE ERROR MSG

the specified server was found but there was no response from the server,
please verify the port and ssl info is correct

the port setting s are 110 and 25 for yahoo mail isp bt internet using
mail.btinternet.com for smtp server

I am having similar problems with my Yahoo account. I keep getting e-mails
to update my security settings. These are the manual instructions to update:

Follow the instructions, then. BT Internet uses Yahoo for its mail servers
and Yahoo recently started using different ports and security settings.

I dont see any manual settings listed. I am using charter communications. Do
I need to call them to find the correct port settings?
