Running HP Pavilion 8500 with Windows XP Media Edition and Microsoft Office
2003:
Outgoing messages remain in OUTBOX and can be neither sent nor deleted.
Can no longer move messages from INBOX to any other folders.
Can no longer open NEW message for drafting.
Cannot Reply or Forward individual messages received.
Cannot create New Contacts
No error messages, but a Popup appears in each case indicates, "You don't
have permission to create an entry in this folder. Right-click the folder,
and then click Properties to check your permissions for the folder. See the
folder owner or your administrator to change your permissions," or some
variation thereof.
No changes have been made in my e-mail accounts. I am the only user and the
Administrator of the network, am properly logged in but am obviously baffled.
I have:
Closed and reopened Outlook.
Rebooted computer, router and cable modem.
Used Outlook Help to "Detect and Repair" the program.
Run full virus-scan with Norton Internet Security 2009.
Disabled the NIS firewall.
None of the above yielded any progress toward resolving the issues.
Problem arose about a week ago. I am corresponding agent for my college
graduating class and have to maintain e-mail links and my history folders for
170 addees. My Inbox is now getting larger rapidly as I am 'out of touch'
immediately after our 50th Reunion!
Help...anyone!
