Can't send mail. Help please.

I have not been able too send mail using vista mail but can receive messages.
The message just stays in my outbox and i get the following error message.

The connection to the server has failed. Subject '', Account:
'mail.btinternet.com', Server: 'mail.btinetnet.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port:
25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I can still use my bt yahoo

Looks like a typo in the server name.

try changing it to mail.btinternet.com

Your outgoing mail server is spelt incorrectly. Should be
"mail.btinternet.com".
Try that, should be OK.

Does you connection to that server through any other internet provider's
equipment before it gets there? If so, such connections to port 25 are
often blocked to cause problems for spammers.

This may or may not help if you can read .doc files - I can't read it
to tell.
