I have just installed a SpeedCom+ internal modem

The problem I have is that I can't send fax's, I have received a couple
already but I can't send them. When I try to send I get a message come up
that the number is busy, this is not the case

How can I send a fax, please help

Do I need to change any of the settings for the modem?

I'm using XP home

"The number is busy" usually means you have not configured the outgoing
settings correctly.... ensure it's not set to dial a 9 or other number
before the number that the fax is going to.

If you connect a telephone to the other output socket on the modem itself,
and pick up the phone, can you hear a dial tone?
