After furious head scratching, Matt asked:
| Downloading email and sending have not been a problem with my ISP
| (POP3) account) until the other day. I have been using Outlook 2007
| for last 7 months. Then yesterday all of a sudden it couldn't
| connect to my Pop3 account to receve or send email cann't remember
| the actual error code. ISP tech support said they thought it was a
| port 25 issue and gave me a number for advanced tech support. Well
| gave up and went to bed shutting everything down. This morning I got
| up and rebooted everything. Well I can receive but not send. On
| sending I get an error message (0X800CCC80) "none of the
| authentication methods are sufforted by the server......I don't
| understand this outgoing mail is to use the samke credentials as
| incoming mail. This morning ISP says its a microsoft issue. I'm not
| aware of any recent updates that would have changed things. I do
| also run Norton360 (antivirus, Spamblocker). Any clues why it would
| just stop working?
