cant send email from one identity

      1st Apr 2007
my father and I share the same computer. I am able to send and receive with
no problem. My father can receive emails no problem. He gets and error when
trying to send emails.

I don't know, but I'll bet the server should be smtp.east.cox.net - also
check that they want him to use port 25 and whether or not the server
requires authentication.

He has the outgoing server name wrong.
It should be smtp.east.cox.net instead of smtp.east.net.
