Can't select a shape once it is sent to back in Frontpage.

Once I add a shape to a page and then click the send to back option, I cannot
then select the shape to modify it or even delete it.

actually don't use shapes.
They use VML which is only supported in Internet Explorer.

Thanks for the answer, but I still need help. I won't use this capability,
but having put in a rectangle, how can I select it to get rid of it?

Switch to code view and delete the code.

That doesn't seem efficient as it is difficult to identify the snippet of
code relating to the graphic. I guess I can try each one, but this certainly
seems to be a nasty bug in the software.

Does "reveal tags" under the view menu allow you to select objects by
clicking on their tabs?
