For the last 5 questions I've posted there has been no response, even though
I check the box 'Notify me of replies', and I can never find the questions in
the forum even though I search by the subject and/or my name. Does anyone
know why this is happening? I also checked my account info and the email is
correct.

The Notify feature has been broken for months. MS knows about it but has not
yet moved to either repair it, remove the nonfunctional button, or even warn
users. (How you'll get this I don't know!)

Do note that the webpage is NOT the forum. The questions and answers are all
out there, on "Newsgroups" on the news server msnews.microsoft.com; you can
post, read, and reply to them using a "Newsreader" program such as Outlook
Express, Windows (Live) Mail, or a third party program such as my favorite,
Agent (www.forteinc.com). Or you can search old messages using
http://groups.google.com in "Advanced Search" mode.
