Hi there all,
I am having a weird problem where I can't see my Windows
98 computer on XP, from my Network Places, but they are
listed in the "Veiw Workgroup" Folder? Is the workgroup
folder the place where I am suppose to explorer from or
is there a problem that I should be able to explorer
from "My Network Places" Folder as well?

I appoligize Jack, I think I did not give enough detail
of my problem. What I ment to say is that previously, or
the last time I was exploring through the network on my
XP computer was sometime back in May, I was able to see
both drives of my Windows 98 computer in My Network
Places. Meaning I had everything set-up and everything
was working. However today tring to explorer through my
Windows 98 computer, all I see in the XP computer is only
one of the drives out of the 2 drives on Windows 98.
Though I can manually type in the name of the Windows 98
computer in the address bar and then be able to explorer
through that way. So basically, what I am tring to say is
I know that both computers are connected and they can
communicate with each other, but the one drive out of the
2 drive of Windows 98 is not being displayed, but I can
expolorer through it if I manually type it in the address
bar.

If a shared disk or folder from the Windows 98 computer doesn't appear
in My Network Places, click "Add a network place" and add it.

Make sure that "Automatically search for network folders and printers"
is enabled in My Computer | Tools | Folder Options | View.
