Can't See What I Type On Some Web Site Forms

On both my Win 98 computer and my Win XP computer, on some
web sites (not all) when I go to fill out a form (name &
address, for example) I can't see what I type. If I move
my cursor over the stuff I typed, it usually turns yellow,
then disappears when I remove my cursor. I thought it
might have something to do with the color scheme I'm using,
but it doesn't happen on all web sites, just some. As I
type this, I see a black background and cyan letters, so no
problem here.
Any comments someone?
