Hi All,

My Configuration:
Windows XP SP2
Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Mgr

I am seeing a strange issue with some of the people I communicate with
through email.

When I send them an email and get a reply back from them. I am unable to see
any of the text that they wrote. The email looks just like the original that
I sent except the subject has the 'RE' prefix.
This only happens with a handful of people though.

I've searched forums and see other people having the same problem but none
of the suggested fixes have worked for me.

I send emails in plain text format. It is also not a character encoding
issue as this happens with people who are also in the US and using the same
set as me.

When these people send me a direct email (not replying to mine) the message
comes in fine.

Can anyone offer some advice on a fix for this issue.

Thanks and best regards,

Jim

One of the most common causes is an antivirus or -spam scanner configured to
scan mail. You should never scan mail with an AV program. Uninstall your
AV program and reinstall it without the mail scanning feature. You'll still
be protected.

Hi Brian,

I do not run any anti virus software on my PC. I do however allow Outlook
2007 to filter suspected junk mail and place them in the 'Jum mail' folder
but this does not seem to be a factor since these replies are coming from
people I've already communicated with and the emals go straight to my inbox.

Any other potential fixes for this issue?

Thanks and regards,

Jim

Does anyone have any suggestions on how this issue can be resolved?
It is a very critical matter when you can't read what your customers are
writing to you in their email replies.
