Hi,

I have two workstations at home, one a laptop running
win2K and the other a desktop running win xp Pro. I have
connected to two together using a cross over cable and I
can see each from the other machine.

When connected to the outside world I can ping from either
machine and get good responses.

The problem I get is when I connect via VPN (3rd party) to
my work. In this case I can see the entire network in
win2K but not in winXP. Both machines still can see and
ping the outside world. The XP box seems to just not want
to display the network. Both box's and my work have been
set to use the same workgroup.

I have been over all settings and have both setup with the
same networking and VPN settings. The only thing I can
come up with that is different is the OS.

Is this a XP thing or is there something else I can do.
