I am unable to view windows that open as extra windows on websites as if
they are being blocked by a pop up blocker but I have no pop up blocker and
the one in Microsoft Internet Explorer is turned off.

Didn't you post this question yesterday? If you can't find your previous
post then search for it using Google groups advanced search looking in
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general searching for your name as author.

http://groups.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en

If you are just reposting, it's not a good idea to resubmit the same
question so soon. You need to wait for several days. It can take that long
for the right person to see it, and you should indicate in your message that
this is a second or subsequent post.

Since your problem involves the use of a internet explorer, you should post
to the internet explorer newsgroup. Make sure you specify what version, IE6
or IE7.

There are quite a few posts there so peruse them for something on topic
before posting a new message.

Best to keep the popup blocker on and then press ctrl when you click on a
link that has a popup. This will force the popup to open. IE will notify
you that it has blocked a popup you may want to see and then you know if
you need to use ctrl+left click to see it.

My IE properties window doesn't have an Advanced Tab?

Have downloaded Google toolbar to put its blocker on but when I click on
agree to install, nothing happens?

No Google toolbar installed. In fact I have downloaded it and tried to
install it, but it won't install. I click on the install button and nothing
happens.

Have scanned with adaware and spybot.

Ad ons disabled.

Still nothing

You don't need Google Toolbar, there is already a popup blocker in IE.
