Can't see pictures

I cannot see pictures in IE even though all of the selections in
Tools/Internet Options/Advanced/Multimedia are checked. And it is not
because the pages are in the cache, because I have cleared it. Alll seaches
on the web direct me to use the Multimedia setting...so I'm hoping I can get
an answer here.

Thanks Frank, never suspect Norton AntiVirus, it was the problem. I did a
search of this newsgroup for related answers before posting mine, but after
seeing your answer, I realize you have had to post it numerous times...so
