Can't see open program

When I launch a particular program, it seems to be opening in an invisible
area to the left of the screen. It does it's little visual animation while
opening, and the program seems to be opening and displaying to the left of
the screen where I can't see it or use it.

I know this is the kind of thing that "Cascade" was made for, but Cascade
doesn't make it show up either.

It does show up in Task Manager, so I'm fairly sure the program is running.
I can Minimize it, but I can't get it to show up on the screen, where I can
see it.

This is for a workstation that has two monitors plugged in, and is using
"extended desktop," but the 2nd screen is on the right.

Can somone tell me how to get that program to move back over into the usable
area of the screen?

Thank you,
Bill

I can right click on a program in the task bar and minimize, (the
maximize is grayed in my test because it was maxed out), but once
minimized the restore *and* maximize are available. Use maximize, not
restore as restore puts it back off screen. Should work and put it
full screen on your screen, not off.
That or change your resolution on the desktop larger.

Thank you,

There is some weird quirk (or design flaw) in this particular program that
is does not have a "Maximize." However, your suggestion did help. I was able
to find the keyboard shortcut "Alt Space" and it lets me choose Maximize. Now
I can see the program and it's working.

However, it's Maximized, it's taking up the whole screen. I want it to be
smaller and able to move around.

When I click "Restore Down," (the middle icon) it either minimizes it, or
maybe it does "restore down" to a place that's off my screen.

How can I get "restore down" to work? or how can I get it to get smaller on
my screen? or how can I move that window to where I can see it (not off the
screen)

Thank you,
Bill

I'd go back to the concept of changing your desktop to something really
high. 1680x1280 (I'm guessing, i don't use higher than 1024x768).
But make the screen larger than it currently is and you'll now see that
window hopefully and can drag it to the left and get that position back
on the screen. Then resize the screen back.

Try a right-click on task bar and choose "Cascade Windows".
