Can't see myself?

I have one W2K machine connected to a WRT54GL
with a wire on port one. When the machine is up and
running and I go to network neighborhood down to
the group level I don't even see my own shares (D
drive). How can I get my own computer to show up
in the group? Would a firewall block this from
happening?
