Hello

I installed XP Service Pack 2 so that my PC would support my iPhone. After
I did this, my email in Microsoft Outlook no longer shows the "from" name on
new emails. I still see it in old emails. In addition, when I open the
email, there are many many lines of code that preceed the email. I am not a
technical person but could use some help. Thanks!

If you cannot see the "From" field in a new message, go to the View command
(in the new message's menu bar) and select "From Field". It should show up
after that.

To see the "From" field in the inbox view, you need be in the Inbox and then
go to View |Current View | Customise Current View commands. Click on the
"Fields" button and add the "From" field from the left hand list to the right
hand list.

Hope that helps.

Thanks, but that isn't the problem. The "from" field is in there. The day
after I loaded Service Pack 2, the emails started coming in with a blank
space in the "from" category. On the old emails (prior to when I installed
SP2), the "from" names are still there. Then, when I open the email, there
is A LOT of code/data that shows before I get to the text of the actual email.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. I'm afraid I do not know what is
causing that to happen.

Good luck; I hope someone can help you.
