Let's go back a few steps and get some basic data from you, then we can
help:

1. what version of Outlook do you have?

2. do you have Autoarchive turned on? Tools | Options | Other tab - there's
the Autoarchive setting - is it turned on?

3. If it is turned on, what file location is it set to archive old items to?

On the left pane of Outlook, make sure you are in Folder List. Now can you
see all of the Archived folders?

Do you have the relevant Archive folder showing? Right click it and check
it's Properties | Advanced and see where it is located. Is that the same as
the location in my original question 3.?

Go see if you have more than 1 Archive.pst and some of them are not open -
File | Open | Outlook Data File | do any other .pst files show there?

If you still haven't solved the mystery, use search with Hidden files
showing, and search for files named .pst then open them as described above.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!
