WinNT4 domain server, win2k workstation, winXP notebook.
WinNT4 can see all 3 computers in Network Places.
Win2K can see itself and WinNT.
WinXP notebook can see WINNT and itself.
All in same subnet. All have shared drives. WinXP and Win2K both login as
same user, or different users makes no difference.
Why can't WinXP see Win2K? What do I look for?

Doug,

Are all computers joined to the domain? With DNS setup properly?

One of the most common causes of this problem would be a misconfigured or
overlooked personal firewall, or other security component. There are several
other possibilities too, and any might be the cause of your problem. Read this
article with an open mind.

If no help yet, provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each
computer, so we can diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked
articles, and follow instructions precisely (download browstat!):

Please let us know if any of these suggestions are of any help. What you learn
may help others in the future, and that's the purpose of these forums.
