I can't see the desktop in my XPe runtime although I've

schmecks,

At target image, have you check the setting in Display Properties? Go
to Control Panel\Display\Customize Desktop\General. Select the
Desktop icons as needed. It should display the icons on desktop.

go to REGEDIT and select:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

find the item "HideIcons" and put its value to 0 (zero)

then restart your image.
this will help you.

Roby,
Thanks, this worked. Is there a way to do this setting in
TD?

I have the same problem and was never able to solve it. It's not a big deal
for us, since we have a lot of things to do on the built image anyway. So I
use the context menu on the desktop, Arrange Icons by/Show desktop icons.
This is just a workaround, of course.

At the top of your configuration in TD, there is a node called "Extra
Registry Data". You can add reg keys here by right clicking in the space.
