I've been fighting with this problem for about a week
now. I first noticed that my computer takes forever to
logon after entering my username/password. I then noticed
that I cannot see the contents of my WINT folder in the
right pane. I can expand the folder and see all the sub-
folders but I cannot see anything else. When I expand the
WINNT folder and I click on the system32 folder, same
thing, it wont show me the contents in the right pane.
Also, it wont show my network connection to our company
network. I was thinking this was a virus, but I've
reinstalled Windows about 5 times now and about 20-30
minutes after connecting back onto my network it does the
same thing. Could this be a harddrive problem? Has
anyone experienced this before? Any help is greatly
appreciated.
