We use Outlook 2003 at work and I have a person that I sent an distribution
list to. He saved it in his contacts. When we created an email and then went
to choose Contacts from the dropdown list it wasn't there (and we scrolled
all the way down). Can you help?

TIA,

Erin

right click on the contacts folder, properties, Outlook Address Book, check
Use this folder as an email address book

State the method used to send the DL. It must be sent as an Outlook Item in
an RTF message. Did you do that?
State how the DL was saved. It was either not sent correctly or was not
saved to the same Contact Folder that you are displaying in your address
book view.

I practiced that on mine and it worked. I had him do it and that checkbox
area is greyed out so you can't check the box.

Any ideas??

You have an incorrectly configured Outlook Address Book service in your mail
profile or the service is missing entirely.
