Can't Schedule Appt

I've never had a problem scheduling an appt -- today I clicked on the date
and time and...nothing. My old entries are there, but I cannot add anything
new.

Did you try rebooting your computer? If that does not help, run Detect and
Repair. If it still doesn't work, try a new mail profile.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, kj asked:
