Hello PA Bear et al:

I have the same exact promblem. I have tried this and three other fixes
suggested in the KB. No matter what i do, i can only save to bmp. But i am
given the option to email the graphic as a jpg. like the other user, this
only happened a few weeks ago. all was fine before that. Xp SP2, all
updates, other graphic programs include irfanview 3.95, Photoshop elements 3.
Adaware and Spybot protection measures loaded. Thanks!

You may have a corrupted (damaged) Cache. Logged on as Administrator,
delete C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\*Temporary Internet
Files* <=this folder and reboot.
