Can't save a Remote assistance invitation.

With a new computer w/SP2 installed. When I try to save an invitation for
remote assistance, I get a window with a title of Mircosoft Internet Explorer
with the message "A program could not start. Please try again."
After repeated attempts on this computer and may others and no evidence of
information in the KB. Any suggestions.
