Even though I check the box for saving passwords (Password
Cache), it will not remember the password. I checked the
registry hack that prevents saving passwords and it isn't
there. I also added the key, with the value to enable it,
and it doesn't resolve the problem. From the history, a
RRitchie had the same problem back in 3/11/03. I can't
get access to the article or his e-mail address.

Windows XP Home Pre-Installed on an HP notebook.

This also affect the caching of passwords for outlook or
Outlook Express.
