I tried to save a file to a floppy disk. The file was 508
kb and the floppy was brand new so I know I had enough
space. I got a message saying there wasn't enough room on
the disk, remove blah blah blah. I tried two other new
floppy disks , same result. I never had thids problem
before. I'm running Windows 2000 professional. Ever since I
downloaded that last security patch my system and hardware
has been all screwy. I can't see the files in my program
files folder, the floppy isn't working correctly and other
screwy stuff. I've got Norton System works so maybe i
shouldn't downloadthe never ceasing security patches
Microsoft is always having to disseminate. maybe I need
someone to help me uninstall all that crap if it's going to
cause all these problems, I'll take my chances with the virii.

Have you tried formatting the disk?
