Can't run Video on MSNBC

Hi everyone, I hope someone can help answer this question.
I am running Windows XP w/ IE-6 & Norton Internet Security
2004, When I visit MSNBC.com and try to launch one of the
video links the following happens. The new video player
pops up but the bottom half does not show (only a portion
of the play button is visible) and the video does not
play. Also when I visit www.comcast.net none of the Flash
player conntent is displayed (the only thing that
displays is one advertisement)only text and I can get the
weather information to display. Does anyone have any
Ideas what could be causing this? I have run ad-ware 6.0
& Spybot S & D to remove all adware & spyware threats.
Any suggestions would be welcome I'm not well versed with
a lot of the software out their.
