Hi - I have down loaded Office Professional Plus 2010 and run the installation, which has gone as far as telling me the files are configured. However, when I try to launch Office from the main menu, it asks me to enter my product key and when I do, it doesn't recognise it. Thus I can't start Office. Can anyone please help? JD

Did you download from Microsofts own site?
You may have to ring MS to get another key code or to solve the issue you have?

If it is just a general office program you need then why not give Libre Office a try. It is free and open source and perfectly usable for most home users.

It is a download via Microsoft's Home Use Programme (HUP) and Digital River.

I had a similar problem when I reinstaled Office, I gave MS a call and one of their guys took control of me laptop, instaled something and regenerated the product key, took all of 15 minutes
