Greetings,
I have been using AVS Video Converter for a long time under XP32 bit with no
problems. I recently installed x64 (because I upgraded system memory to 8GB)
and I can't get AVS to recognize any video files. All the other programs
works fine. Let me try to give you all the facts I can about this program.

-System specs: e6750,P5N32-SLI, 8gb mushkin ddr 800, eVga 880gtx (SLI), 4x
Raptors (Raid=0), PC P&P 850SSI PSU, x-fi Elite Pro.

-This was a clean install on a formatted array (also dual booting with Vista
32bit).

-symptoms: Program takes unusually long time to start but eventually opens.
When I try to load any video file of any format (that I am 100 percent sure
it's working), the program gives an error message saying that the file is not
recognized.

-the program works under xp32 bit just fine however on Vista, the commercial
detection feature doesn't work at all (it can't detect any commercials).

I do not want to go back to the 32bit version just because of one program
yet this program is really important for my studies so any help will greatly
be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any input.
