I cannot seem to get my school email account (.edu) routed through Microsoft
Outlook 2007. I use outlook for my work email, on a different computer, but
I followed all of these same steps to try and set up this account, but it
still won't work. Does outlook have a problem with .edu servers? Is there
anything that I can do to get my emails through Outlook?

Outlook doesn't care anything about the type of domain name. You should talk
to your school's email administrator to get the information required to
connect with Outlook. It may be a slightly different process than for your
work account.
