the data for the file c:\winnt\system32\config. The data
has been lost this error may be cause by failure of your
computer hardware or network connection. please try to
save this file elsewhere."

I click OK button, but the computer won't start window

>you will need to run the automatic recovery console from

the original install cd. i hope u back up your system
regularly, even though i havn't had many problems while
runing this, i have had a couple times when data became
lost.
boot to the cd, let it install all the files, dont press
any "f" keys. at the first option to press enter and
install xp or press r and run recovery console, press
enter. at the second option to do this press r to repair
xp install.
good luck

>Hi, Thanks. The bad thing is, We just got this new

computer a couple month ago. We haven't run the
automatic recovery yet.
so, I start the computer with safe mode and select start
computer from last know good configuration and it works
fine. If we restart computer, the computer won't start
and keep pop up the Window-Delayed write Failed error
message.
