A laptop we have which is running Vista with Outlook 2003 won't let the user
'reply all' to any messages in their mailbox (they get the following error
message "the messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the
problem persists restart Outlook"). Have tried restarting, removing and
reloading Outlook and all sorts of other things, but to no avail.
The user also can not see in their mailbox any tasks that have been sent to
them from a shared task list in Outlook - (the message "this item can not be
displayed in the reading pane. Open the item to read its contents" comes up,
and when opening the item we get the message "can not open this item").
We have other machines running the same OS with Outlook 2003 which don't
have these problems, and i've tried removing other software on the laptop in
question that could be compromising Outlook without success. Outlook runs
fine in every other respect except these two anomalies
