I am average PC user and just want a simple idiot proof way to remove this
annoying program.

I don't want to fiddle with the registry.

I have tried simply deleting it and even tried a removal tool via the
microsoft site, but it refuses to uninstall.

Any ideas please

Thanks

Robby

So you don't want to learn anything but just want to rely on other people to
solve your problems.
Maybe we must just keep you in the dark.
Change you attitude for starters, maybe somebody is more willing to help
you.

This is the manual removal method:
http://vil.mcafee.com/dispVirus.asp?virus_k=99236&

Software to remove your pest is available, easy to get, and freeware.
Since I don't like your aproach I am not going to give you any links.
Search and thy will find.
You want a clue? It is not a virus but a socalled spyware program.
Use GOOGLE.
