I have a system alert on my computer from spyware that was downloaded. I got rid of the spyware but I can't get rid of the system alert, it shows on the add/remove list, but when I click on it to remove it nothing happens.

Hi Janet,

If you know how to use the registry, you can navigate to:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall and click the
plus sign next to it.

Check the Keys (folders) in there for the application. You can remove
the one that contains the information in the Add/Remove list.

If you are not familiar with using the registry, I would recommend
leaving it alone, or having someone with experience perform it for you.
