Can't reinstall Win XP tablet after new hard drive instal; - reboo

's Computer Specifications

Hi, all - I'm trying to figure out why my HP recovery CD with Win XP Tablet
edition won't reinstall windows - it goes thru the request for prouct ID, and
then through 'preparing for installation', then it just reboots - no message
or blue screen.

After the reboot, it does the whole thing again.
