I cant seem to record any music onto my CD-R or even my CD-
RW for that matter. When I go to copy an mp3 file onto
the disc the CD writing wizard tells me that there is no
disc in the drive. Yet when I enter a CD game or another
CR-R with music already recorded onto it the computer
reads it fine and I have no problems. Does anyone have a
clue to my problem? Thanks for any help.

Its tempting .....

What software are you using ? WMP, Nero Poxio ?

If you're authoring software can convert an mp3 on the fly (as it records)
you need to make sure the Wizard know's its an mp3 file. Why not download a
free wave editor (Audacity) and convert into a wave format using that. Then
even WMP should be able to burn a CD for you. Or download the free Nero
plug-in for WMP off their website.

Oh, and by the way, if you're using cheapie CD-R's, try changing the make.
Some burners are sensitive to certain makes.

Cheers,
Jerry
