I'm having trouble receiving e-mail that I send to myself. I'm using a gmail
account for my e-mail. When I send myself something through Microsoft
Outlook, it shows up in my "sent" folder, but doesn't come to my inbox. If I
log on through gmail, then it will show up in my inbox in Microsoft Outlook.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

That's an anomaly of gmail. It won't deliver messages you send to yourself.
Not an Outlook problem.

Thanks for the fast response!

I think g-mail is working OK--when I send myself mail on g-mail, it does
show up in my g-mail in box as being sent by "me. "

Any other ideas? Thank you!

Sending mail to yourself via the gmail servers using Outlook is not equivalent
to sending mail to yourself using the web interface to gmail. How one behaves
has no bearing on the other. You're drawing an invalid conclusion.

Is there a solution for this. I use Windows Mail to send an html newsletter.
I also test it out by sending to myself, which I open in Outlook 2003. Since
my internet/email provider switched over the gmail, I can no longer do this.
It WAS a great way to test. Any suggestions?

Since gmail accounts are free, open another gmail account with a different
address and sent it there.

That would be too easy (kidding)! Thanks. I'll do that.
