I was just at a friends. I was going to load a program
to edit photos and the cd wouldn't load. I can go to
either cd drive on his dell 4400 and open the cd but when I click on
setup.exe, nothing happens. I tried another software
cd, and it won't install either. It will play music cd's in either drive.

I brought the cd back home and it loads fine on my
computers. What could cause a new computer not
to run a setup.exe on a cd??

down the left column to File Association Fixes.
Click on it and from the menu select EXE File Association Fix and
download.
