Can't read old Outlook Express messages on new computer

I got a new computer. It also has Outlook Express. I copied my old OE
message folders from my old computer to my new computer. When I try to open
an old message folder on my new computer OE opens and displays the new
message folder list. Here is the path to my new OE message folders on my new
computer:

C:\Documents and Settings\John\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{31391EF3-B3AC-4F12-94D8-DC2DA45E9526}\Microsoft\Outlook
Express

Here is the path to my old OE message folders on my new computer:

C:\Documents and Settings\John\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{B81840D4-1844-4D89-A307-5402BFC1B327}\Microsoft\Outlook
Express

When I try to open an old message folder OE opens the new path. I have
tried pasting the old message folders in the new message folder file but
still the same thing happens. How can I view my old messages?
