We purchsed Simple Tech Flash Drives(UCF-100)and plugged
into ASUS A7N266-VM motherboard USB port. We can see the
flash drive on the Windows XP, but we can't read the
files. I talked to ASUS and Simple Tech technicians. They
said I should download the USB drives from the Microsoft
website. I was looking for the USB drivers, but I
couldn't get correct drivers. So,I need someone who
really can help me on this. Is the USB drivers need to be
updated or something else need to done in order to make
it works?

Thank You

Is your Xp updated? SP1 or SP1a? If not, you need to do it with the network
version (downloadable 130MB) , NOT the express one, as this doesn't always
update the USB drivers....

If you have a 56K modem, think about ordering a copy of SP-
1 on CD. It costs about 10 bucks from Microsoft, all for
shipping anf handling, or so they say.
