My computer came with windows ME and Adaptec's eazy cd
creater which made it very easy to copy a cd from my dvd-
rom to my cd-r drive. I recently upgraded to windows
XP. I can't seem to find any provisions that allow me to
copy in the same way. Everything I've found makes me
copy to the hard drive in mp3 format, then convert back
to wav and burn to cd. What am I missing?

Go to Roxio and get the upgraded CD burning software,
Adaptec sold to Roxio several years ago, your software is
seriously out of date.

The current version is 6, there is an update to earlier
version 5 to 5.3.5. Your Adaptec software may not have an
downloadable upgrade for free.

Get Ahead Nero. It's much more stable. And get rid of that ME OS and install XP. ME is nothing but a hassle.
