Can't read any cd in Samsung CD-R/RW SW-252F

      9th Apr 2004
Something miss in my WindowsXP both home edition and professional edition. I
can read CD in Samsung CD-R/RW SW-252F in WindowsME. But It's doesn't work
anything in WindowsXP. It try to read but never happen show any files. I
checked at Samsung website. It seems nothing wrong with this product for
Thailand. Firmware is OK.

Do you have any CD Burner software installed? If Easy CD, you MUST
have at least v5.1 installed. If older, remove it.


Download this fix to fix missing Cd drives or drives with error 39
etc:
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_d...cd_dvd_fix.htm. Download
the vbs
script file, double click it and click yes when prompted. You will
need to
reboot for the changes to take effect.
