I have a home network that is set up. Both computers are
visable on the network. My computer gets the internet but
I can not get it to work on my second computer. Support
tech at Adelphia states it may be in my tcp/ip stack. I
do not know what that is. He could or would not help
further.
He suggested we uninstall the network card and reboot. We
did that. Home network is working still thru the
routerbut still no internet.
Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance, I hope I can assist you one day.

does adelphia allow multiple connections now?

last I knew 3 yrs. back thier hybrid network didn't allow such
connections However it was possible with 9* and me to connect multiple
PC's to hub/router set gateway & dns servers(can;t remember if I used
firewall forwarding) to Adelphias' and obtain IP address automatically
and connect via 2 PC's; like I said it was awhile since I have done
this, If you can attempt to connect via a 2nd PC and the entire
connection does not drop I'd say you have a pretty good chance of
connecting 2 PC's in the past Adelphias' connection would drop as soon
as it detected an alternative MAC address

they said I could network thru a switch or router, but
they would not support it. the techs were great, even
trying to help me with the network issue, but they could
only take it so far.
