I can't reach a few specific sites using IE6, WINXP. I
have a home network with 3 computors, same set-up and
this problem is isolated to mine only. Specifically, I
can't reach Westjet.com, english version site - I can the
French or marriott.com, then sign-in. I have shut off
all firewalls, reduced security and privacy to minimum
with no change. I run adaware and spybot regularly. Any
insights into this specific kind of access denial?

Check your 'hosts' file. If you are not familiar with this file, then
simply find it using Windows Explorer, and then rename it to something
like 'oldhosts'.
