You can test everything like links and thumbnails by using the preview in
browser mode.
Also if you're using any FrontPage features that require the FrontPage
extensions such as a hit counter or forms, they most likely won't work on a
"free host."
Additionally, you may find yourself trying to fix "problems" with a free
host that won't exist on a host you pay for.
Bottom line, if it works in preview in browser, it will work on a good host.
Make sure your host has FrontPage extensions and when you publish do so by
publishing to
http://yourdomain.com.
Then everything that works on your machine will work on your "live" site.

works before the whole world sees it. I thought if it doesn't work on a free
site, it won't work anywhere. I didn't want to sign up with a host until
I'm sure it's ready to put up, and I want to be sure I can pay for it every
month.

cost a lot? I would need one that lets you have A LOT of space, because my
web site is about my favorite TV shows and will be done like a scrapbook and
my collection is HUGE.
