According to godaddy.com all FP extentions are in order. I use File/Publish
and use "publish changed pages only." I get no error messages, nothing. Yet,
no changes are made. FP 2003 suggests the last date for a successful
publishing was 12/14. I tried to publish several times today 12/19 using the
upgrade and without success. I have used FP Cleaner, talked to hosting. No
success. Any suggestions?

You must do a complete publish first, thereafter you can use Change Page only.

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact

If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.

Thanks for your response, Thomas. A complete publish resulted in a simple
"blink" on my computer that took about 1/10th of a second and nothing was
changed. Nothing was published. Talking with tech support at godaddy I was
told that it takes 24 to 48 hours for things to update which was never the
case with FP 2000. I used a custom install when I moved up to 2003. Any other
suggestions?

The 24 to 48 hours updating issue has nothing to do with using any version of FP, that is a GoDaddy
issue.

Open the live/remote site directly in FP, then publish down to a location on your machine, make your
changes (again) then re-publish.

Well, I can't publish period, changed pages or full republish. So far, I am
not thrilled with FP 2003, but I do thank you for responding.

This is a followup, Thomas, to the publishing problem. I finally was able to
publish the entire site by pulling up the remote site in the right pane with
the local site in the left AND by clicking on the button at the bottom right
"Publish Web." Going to File/Publish didn't work. I'm not sure why. A second
problem: Is is normal in 2003 for the hyperlinks not to work in "Preview?"
None of them do. And this was a problem before publishing anything. Thanks
mucho for your help.

Kathleen, thank you. Editing the registry solved the problem. Thanks so much
for your response. It's hard to teach an old dog new tricks but this forum
helps.
